I live for roller coasters!  I've been a member of American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) since 1980, and am currently serving as a Regional Rep for the organization's northwest region. I had previously served as Public Relations Director for over 2 years as well. ACE is the world's largest club of amusement ride enthusiasts and has grown from a handful of members to over 8,000 members representing all 50 states and 12 countries. ACE was founded in 1978 as a not-for profit, all volunteer club to foster and promote the conservation, appreciation, knowledge and enjoyment of the art of the classic wooden roller coaster and the contemporary steel coaster.

Six Flags St. Louis celebrated the 30th birthday of the world-famous Screamin’ Eagle roller coaster with a 30-Hour Ride-A-Thon on July 20-21, 2006. I joined a team of 20 ACE members from across the country to ride the three-quarter of a mile long wooden coaster beginning at 8 am July 20 and ending at 2 pm July 21. Not all of us lasted the whole 30 hours, but I did make it to the end and completed 316 circuits!  Click here to see some pictures from that event.

In August 2003, the locally produced TV Magazine show, "Evening Magazine" filmed a segment featuring me!  This show aired on KING-5 TV in Seattle on August 28, 2003. It aired a second time on July 12, 2005.
